Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a good couple of weeks – I didn’t blog last week because we were canoeing in the Boundary Waters in Minnesota.
No quilting, but it was worth it!
This week’s FPF is a fairly easy one from Melissa Cory of Happy Quilting for Camelot Fabric. I love her quilts and patterns and highly recommend following her blog.
As shown, it’s a respectable 75×75″ quilt, but easy to make larger or smaller with the addition or subtraction of additional blocks or borders. I love that it’s in solids, but it could obviously be done in small scale pattern fabric and be just beautiful. Another optional change would be the removal of the sashing – this would give you an interesting joining of four triangles at the junction of blocks as well as an even stronger circular appearance in the background fabric.
I hope you’re having a wonderful summer and have a great weekend!
