Happy Friday! I know – shocking that I remembered and am posting a FPF… things have been crazy and I have definitely not been getting everything done that is on my to-do list. Today is no different, but blogging is a must-do activity this morning!
The pattern this week is an old Robert Kaufmann one, but when you’re using solids, things just don’t go out of style.
Rolling Rainbow was released by Kaufmann to commemorate the 30th year of Kona solids and while I do love the colors chosen here, there are so many more available now that you could have a great time choosing your favorites! Or even stay within one color to celebrate the many variations within blue or pink.
It’s a large quilt at 82″x82″ and is targeted at the confident beginner. The “diamonds” are merely square within a square (which could be paper pieced, if you’re an addict like me) and the remainder are squares and rectangles. I would imagine that this whips up in no time!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
